1. Listen carefully and tell us what you have learnt.
2. What is your own tip as to best travelling, not necessarily by plane?

  1. a) When travelling it is important to really know your destination (even if it is the first time you go there) in order to book your flight and to know what steps to follow. For instance, if you decide to go in a foreign country you have to know when is the extra-season in order to benefit of discounts, to know which are the most favourable months to book a flight, the days and also the hour (At the end of March, June, September, December- for cheapest rates; on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays- when traffic is really low; at noon- to avoid rush hours). Also you have to know the programe of the concierge in order to talk to him/her after they finish work and to know the best days to rent a car are Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
    b) The most important thing when travelling (not necessarily with plane) in my oppinion is to plan everything in advance. It is more easy to travel when you know everything is planned so take your time when it comes to your holiday- it is in fact your relaxation time and you deserve it.

  2. I've learnt a lot of travelling tips as : it's a lot cheaper to go in extra-season (but we must inform us when is the extra-season), or to know for example the best months for booking a plane and when to avoid the rush hours, or what are the best days and hours to rent a car and maybe get a free upgrade.
My tip as to best travelling is to inform very well about where you wanna go and if it's not a unsecured country, and to plan all the things that you will want to do.

  3. I’ve just listened this article and I extract three ideas about the best trip. I think these are the most important steps for a great holiday. First thing that you should do is to book your hotel room or something like this. Also your book must be done with some months or weeks before if you want to have a discount or to benefit of other facilities. For example, it’s hard to find a book for New Year’s Eve with some months before, it’s preferably to book your seat with six months at least. The second thing that you should do is to think what you’ll visit and do. You should know the timetable of the museums and other locations because it’s very unpleasant to find them closed. Another element is to ensure your means of transport. You can opt for a sweeter ride, where it’s possible. If you follow these three steps you can have a great holiday.
My own tip as to best travelling is to not plan all you have to do. I think that unexpected things are more interesting.

  4. Lots of tips, too many to remember (unfortunatelly), but still, a good thing to know is that you can get a good deal by booking the hotel room at the end of the quarter. Also a thing known by everybody, I supose, is that everithing is cheaper in extra season, and you can avoid the crowd.
My tip would be to document on the place you're about to visit, so you can get the best of it by visiting all the sights.

  5. I`ve learnt that if you need a dinner reservation it`s better to meet the concierge after 6 p.m because until that hour they finish their book reservation and he has more time and even they can offer you a discount voucher; for visit Hawaii it`s best to do it in May or October, and if you plan a cruise it`s best in April or November.
My tip is to be careful when you book your hotel, I think is important to read the comments that other people that stay there write about the hotel, it`s true that many people write only to be write, but if all the comments are the same you will have to think about it. Also for your summer holiday if you plan a vacation it`s good to know that in the middle of May the company WizzAir offer you a 20% discount on their anniversary, and in that day you can book a flight at a cheaper price. If you plan to visit something in your vacation, you may search an organised trip or circuit because mostly are very interesting and shows you places that certainly you don`t know, or you may just pick up the touristic bus and in one day you can visit all the important things in that city.
