  1. In my opinion is very good that they can buy/sell vacacion days (one week in a year), it's good for the company too, that people can organize before their vacantion and extra vacantion days, so the workers don't take suddenly on short notice a day off. The company where my mother works here near Tg. Mures, at Gerry Weber i know that the workers if they work extra time, they get vacancion days of the hours they worked, but i know that in some companies here in Romania workers don't get their vacancion, for example a friend of mine didn't got his vacancion days only after 2 or 3 years.

  2. A perk is the bonus gives by an employer to his or her employees. As I read in this article, most of the employees dream to have an extra vacation or much more free time for their trips. I don’t think in Romania these perks are applied, especially in this “jobs’ crisis”. I think there are three important perks which can be applied to motivate the employees. First perk is an extra month for a mother who has a baby. I think this is the best gift which an employer can do for his employee. Second perk is to motivate the best employees with an extra week of vacation or to organize a party for them. Finally, the third perk is to motivate the reliable people from the company with a cash bonus. In brief, I think that it’s hard to benefit of these perks in an undeveloped country.

  3. It is really interesting in my opinion how employers tend to use everything in their advantage. Fortunately nowadays they take into consideration their employees needs and desires also. Is quite ingenious this program- how companies plan everything, how employees could use their rights according to their needs. In Romanian companies unfortunately is not the case. Something like this perk we can see mentioned in the Constitution- when talking about mother's rights: a woman can choose to come to work earlier than normal (after one year or less) and she receives a great sum of money instead. In U.S.A. I heard they have to go to work earlier- after two or three months because the employer will give the job to someone else if not.

  4. I think it is very important that employees feel respected by their employers. This respect is manifested by giving employees days off and certain bonuses. So employees will be motivated to work and feel that their work is appreciated, did not work in vain, for a salary, most of the times much lower than they deserve. An example that I know in Romania, is that if an employee accumulates 8 hours of overtime, it can always take a day off. This definitely works on employers to work overtime. Another perk for the employee can be bonus, for example, if you work in sales, in addition to their salary to receive a percentage of the sales they make.

  5. In my opinion it is very good that employers give employees free because people are not robots that work all the time they need to rest and regain strength to work. As well as in Romania to do the same and then maybe we'll get up to a higher rank. For example in Romania are working a lot on a very small salary, and in some countries maybe it works the same but is much higher salary.

  6. I think this is a great idea! As an employee, I know exactly how it feels when you have an urgent need extra time, whether it is for recreation or physical mental, or I'm sick, or just that I have an important event. Unfortunately, the company for which I work, has not adopted this interesting idea, but once I had the opportunity to "sell time", and it was great. Those extra money is always welcome. In my opinion, the companies in Romania is an obvious need for such a concept. A program too tough and inflexible can cause malaise for employees and spent the whole day or the whole week thinking about their problems and obviously, their work is not as productive. I think employers in Romania really needs such a project.
