I USED TO BE A FASHION MODEL

There are many things we used to do.
Well, I used to advertise for Fashion, I used to be slim and I used to be young.... Of course this was a long time ago.... if you don't believe, have a look a the Fashion cover photo. Well, I had to increase (and enhance :-) it a bit so that you recognize me.

YOUR TURN:  In a few sentences tell us how YOU USED TO BE, WHAT YOU USED TO DO.

  1. Well... I don't exactly understand if we must write about us, or about a model... I will write about the last one.

As a model I used to drink very much water, I used to make fitness, I used to smile every time I went out, I used to wear clothes that I disliked, I used to eat just fruits and vegetables, I used to be polite. In the last years modelling changed and I used to be just natural. :)

  2. Szidonia,
that was my (great!!! :-) experience. It is me in the photo, didn't you recognize, what a pity!

You have to write about your own habits in the past, of course

  3. Hmm.. I remember that, when I was a teenager, I was at high school and day by day I was doing the same things: school, home, study... and the weekends and holidays were for party and fun with my friends:). In that time I had no worries because my mom and grandparents suported my in everything. After high school I have started to work, so.. my habit changed: work, home, work home and the old same good weekends.:)) Now, I am a student so I moved from my little town and I learned how to take care of myself and I am preparing for a bright future.

  6. When I was 18 I did driving school. My parents hadn't money to pay it for me so I worked in constructions. I used to help my father every time when he made wrought iron fences and gates. I used to clean the iron, I used to hold the iron while my father fixed it. I used to weld when the welding machine couldn't be moved. So my father standed on one side of the fence and I was on the another side. He used to give me the part which I used to fence and I've done my work. When I had time I used to go to driving lessons and legislation lessons.

  11. When I was younger, 15-17 years old, I did some crazy things with my friends. We used to hung out together and do want we wanted to.Unfortunetly we also had problems with the law in some cases when we couldn't stop in time.In most of the casaes we used to get away with avertisments from the cops but in one case tehy took us to the station because we got into a fight with some other guys. But we had been lucky because we escaped without any further conseqences. After that I thought that it's better for me if I find some new friends,'cause with those ones it was just a question of time when I get to jail...

  14. During my teenager period, I used to be a care-free guy.. I had no problems, all day I used to sit at home and play on the computer or watch movies. That was when I wasn't going out with my friends or just spending time in the park.
Now that I'm almost 20, this activities are becoming more and more rare because along with growing up come new responsabilities and you have other priorities rather than wasting time all day..

  15. Sergiu,
do you sound a little nostalgic about those times?

  16. I used to be a non-smoking person, I used to stay at home and watch movies a lot, now I smoke, I travel as often I have the chance, and I prefer to read a book rather than watch TV. This doesn’t mean that I’m another person. I haven’t changed. It´s just that as time passes, a person might do some changes in her life…

  21. When I was young, well younger, I used to be carefree also. I never thought what the world would be like. I had my home, my parents, my school, they were all mine. They protected me, thought me to be a better me. In many ways I did have fun and enjoyed the world in that carefree manner.
I think a better world can only exist for us, each individual has its own “piece” of mind of what the perfect world should look like, feel like, smell like. My perfect world would smell like coconuts, it will always be summer and we could all have our little island to retreat to after work.

  22. Krisztina,
The defective health system! you know it better, I'm sorry for your mom.

Sorry I could not understand your recording - it was defective too.
You have to keep it farther away from your mouth - and also try to answer each question.

  23. Until recently I had no worries because my parents took care of everything, I did not have almost nothing to do but to go to school. Everything was nice and well, but however much has changed since I moved to another city and now I have to do all by myself and to take care of me. And what is most important that I have to care about my future.

I used to go to a music school for 9 years. That was a whole different word, symphonic concert's every week.I played on the piano and the flute.I really liked it. I used to sing in the school choir and the orchestra to.We had competitions, sometimes traveled to different city's and that was so fun. But all ended when I finished high school, and I closed that chapter of my life.

It's so nice to find out new things about one another and exchange ideas.

I was expecting each of you to communicate with the others, to ask questions, as we do in class.
    This is our virtual class.
