  2. Last year I read a book “Body Language” by Tonya Reiman. This book expresses how you should behave in your personal and social life. I learnt from it that having a good posture that inspires self-confidence is the most important thing. A person makes his first impression about you in the first 10 seconds, so you must express self-confidence. In business a good posture can condition the entire meeting and influences very much the employer’s decision. For example, when I see a person standing out in a crowd with a wrong body position or having a twitch, he doesn’t express me self-confidence, even if he says important things.

  3. “You never get a second chance to make a first impression.” Yes, that`s right. But i know many situations when first impression changed after a while.
First, i think people are different and they can express in so many ways. I actually think that people let you know them as much as they want to.
Second, i`m also convinced that the first impression at an interview for a job is very very important. You must look self-confidence and have a good posture so you can get what you want, in this case, the job. Nobody wants a shy person who can`t solve a problem or take good decisions in his work team, so first impression in business is crucial.

  4. "Look the part"- Attitude is very important in life. I do also believe that first impression counts, whether it's the final one or is changeable, it does count! So, if we want to stand out in a crowd, along other crucial steps, one of the things that we have to take care is our look. People observe from our make up, to the way we dress, are we original or not, do we have that proper attitude to wear even a simple coat, to the way we smell and walk... Nobody likes to make business with a person that forgot to wash her/ his face in the morning or with dirty shoes. If we have the looks, than we have more chance to make a good impression.
In business, body language can make or break a deal. Standing, sitting, facial expressions, eyes, etc, have almost infinite symbolic interpretations and we do know that nowadays the HR departments are well trained to observe all these.

  6. When we are at an official business meeting or we give an interview for a job we must be dressed decently, not in strident, low-cut dresses. We must act properly,be polite to the people. Do not disturb while somebody is talking. Do not exaggerate in talking and gesticulation. To have success, talk when you are asked, to be well informed resolute in what you say to give the impression of knowing well what you want. And I think that the body language and the first impression are very important and everyone should be make a good impression in every day, not only in business.

  7. Body language in business is very important because before you will open your mouth, people will judge you by your behaviour and appearence. If you show a confident attiutde, people will threat you right but if you show that you are scared and lost, people will avoid you.
